…there is currently a big ugly hurricaine headed straight for us. We are going to be riding out the storm here at home. I cannot evacuate because I have to work at my nursing job. If you have a session booked with me for next week we will just have to play it by ear but it is likely we may have to re-schedule. For my friends who aren’t here in Louisiana, it is possible I may be MIA from the internet for a while if there is no electricity. Keep us in your prayers.

I’ve overcommitted myself to too many projects at this point so I’m taking a breather for the rest of the month. I will not be scheduling any sessions for the month of August. For one, it’s still too darn hot outside. Also, my son starts ‘big boy school’ and I’ve still got things to do to prepare. I also need a couple of weeks to get in to the new routine. I will start up sessions again in September. For those of you who are waiting on me to schedule, I have your numbers/e-mail addresses and I’ll be in touch with you really soon. The only exception for this will be for seniors. I NEED more seniors for my portfolio and will make an exception for you if you’d like me to do your senior portraits!

These two darlin’s were so much fun. It was a rough shoot complete with stifling heat and mosquito attacks but you’d never know it to see the pictures… they were some real troopers!!!
